Safe Haven 

If you find yourself in crisis or need urgent support with your mental health, the Safe Haven is a safe and friendly place that you can come and access mental health support and advice.

Due to the current situation with coronavirus (COVID-19), we are currently offering telephone or email support during normal Safe Haven opening hours. We are now offering face to face support but by appointment only. Please ring for details

The Safe Haven Team are warm and welcoming and will provide empathy, support and safety to anyone experiencing high emotional distress and/or suicidal thoughts. They will offer you a safe space, a respectful listening ear and an exploration of coping strategies. As well as offering support, they will be able to refer and direct you to further services if you need them.

The Safe Haven is open to anyone over the age of 18.

When will Safe Haven be open?

The Safe Haven telephone and email support service will be available on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday evenings, from 5pm to 10pm. The Safe Haven phone line is 01432 372407 or you can also email the team at

We are open for face to face 1:1 support and also offer a small social space. Please ring if you would like to receive this support and/or attend social space. This is by appointment only due to Covid measures.

Weekly ZOOM Cafe:

We are excited to launch our new weekly Zoom Cafe! Starting on Monday 9th November it will be a relaxed and friendly chat about different discussion points every week. This could range from favourite tv shows, pets or baking! Sessions run between 6:30-7:00pm and all are welcome. If you are interested you will need to pre register via this link.
