Training

We’ve delivered training to a wide variety of organisations within Herefordshire and beyond. Our track record locally – and our ability to draw upon national learning – means we bring local knowledge along with focused mental health expertise to the training we offer.

We can come to your premises, or we can host you at Heffernan House in Hereford if you have a group of 15 or less. We can also run sessions during evenings and weekends if that better suits the needs of you and your team.

We offer a Mental Health Awareness training course which includes topics such as workplace wellbeing, stress, various mental health conditions, suicide prevention strategies and different models of mental ill-health.

We’re looking for passionate individuals in businesses and organisations to become Herefordshire Mind Ambassadors. As an ambassador, you’ll help promote mental wellbeing in your workplace while championing the work that we do to support people in need.

What’s Involved?
– Share our charity’s campaigns, resources and events in your team
– Encourage conversations around mental health in your workplace
– Help reduce stigma and create a supportive environment
– Be a point of contact between your organisation and our charity.
– Share our mental health booklets with your colleagues
– Signpost others to our support services when needed
– Hold 1 fundraising or awareness event per year – big or small!
