Herefordshire Board Gamers are running their fifth annual charity board game event from 11am until late on Saturday 18th May 2019 at The Core on the Foley Industrial Estate, Hereford.

All proceeds of this event go to Herefordshire Mind and we’re delighted that the Board Gamers have chosen to support us with this event. Suggested donation for entry is £5 for anyone over the age of 16. If you have a really great time at the event and are feeling generous, you can also make extra donations on the day and on their online fundraising page.

Everyone is welcome, even if you haven’t played a card or board game for years. Board games come in all shapes and sizes; whether it’s a 10-minute game full of bluffing and laughter or a lengthy strategy game complete with lots of decisions.

Why not go along and let the experts teach you a new game or even bring along a nostalgic classic to share? If you have fond memories of Risk, Pokémon or Rummy, or even if you’re a mobile game addict, the Board Gamers can probably find a board game to scratch that itch.

If you want to learn more, the Board Gamers will have friendly games teachers on hand to get you started, or you can bring along your favourite classics and enjoy the nostalgia.

Please check out the Herefordshire Board Gamers website for lots more information on this wonderful, fun and educational hobby. It’s a great way to connect with friends and family, or even make some new acquaintances!

If you can’t make the Mega Game Day but want to try your hand at board gaming, the Board Gamers also meet up on the first Thursday of each month at The Herdsman (18:30) and the third Sunday of the month at Beer in Hand (17:00).
