Herefordshire Mind Challenge 2026
17th May 2026
On Sunday 17th May, 40 challengers from across the county will embark on an 8 mile hike across the Black Mountains. They will face tricky terrain, narrow ridges, steep inclines, but alongside some of the most beautiful scenery. They will come together to unite against mental health stigma and show a collective stance on how important it is to raise awareness of mental health difficulties.
Led by the team at Your Adventure Challenge, they will encounter key landmarks such as Hay Bluff, The Cat’s Back Ridge, Olchon Valley, Offa’s Dyke Path, and the Black Hill.

11th to 17th May 2026
Mental Health Awareness Week 2026 (11th–17th May) is fast approaching, and it’s wonderful to see so many of you already planning events and pop‑ups in your workplaces and communities. To help inspire even more ideas, we’ve put together a short booklet full of ways you and those around you can get involved this year. Inside, you’ll find suggestions for raising awareness online, in the workplace, within your local community, and beyond.
Please feel free to download, print, share, and pass it on within your circles. Let’s make 2026 the year Mental Health Awareness Week in Herefordshire has its biggest impact yet. Get in touch if we can support or help in anyway and we will do our very best to assist!
