Corporate Fundraising

Herefordshire Mind supports 280 people per week but we cannot do it alone. Find out how your workplace can help.

Why should you help us?

Suicide is the leading cause of death in men under 40 in the UK – a devastating reality that demands collective action. Behind every statistic is a son, daughter, colleague, friend. Herefordshire Mind exists to break the silence, offer hope, and build community-driven support systems that save lives.

By partnering with us, businesses have the power to drive meaningful change. Your support helps fund vital outreach, education, and supportive initiatives that not only help to prevent tragedy but foster a culture of compassion in our community. Together we can make a difference.

Charity of the Year

Choose us as your charity of the year. Support us with your charity fundraising days, events and awareness efforts. You’ll have our full support with all your efforts whether you simply want leaflets for your premises or for us to attend your charity events. We will make every effort to support you.

How does it work?

Businesses formally commit to supporting Herefordshire Mind for a full year. A calendar of activities is scheduled by the business – this might include fundraising events, awareness days or staff volunteering. Herefordshire Mind provides resources, promotional support, social media shoutouts and updates throughout the year. Herefordshire Mind can support in creating a calendar and ideas for activities. Affiliate yourself with the trusted name and those of Mind and show your commitment to employee wellbeing.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)

How does the money I raise help?

Every pound you raise helps us provide essential mental health support in Herefordshire, whether that’s peer support, wellbeing groups, or community outreach. You’re helping people get the support they need, when they need it.

Take a look at some of the services you’re helping to support.

Do I need permission to fundraise for you?

You don’t need permission to fundraise for us as long as you name your event as ‘in aid of Herefordshire Mind’ and not ‘on behalf of Herefordshire Mind’. It is a good idea to let us know about your fundraiser though, so we can support and promote it for you.

Can you provide fundraising materials?

Absolutely. You can find downloadable resources such as poster templates, printable bunting, our logos, and sponsorship forms below. Donation tins and buckets can be collected from Heffernan House, HR4 9HN during office hours. We can also provide banners, and balloons at some events subject to availability.

Will I receive any acknowledgement of my fundraising efforts?

Of course. We love to celebrate our supporters. Once your donation reaches us we will send you a thank you and certificate via email or post. We also give shoutouts across our social media platforms for donations from businesses and organisations.

Is there a minimum amount I need to raise?

Not at all. Every amount helps, whether its £5 or £500, you’re making a difference.

Are ‘Mind’ and ‘Herefordshire Mind’ the same thing?

No. We’re part of the national Mind federation but we’re an independent charity, responsible for generating our own income. We rely on our supporters, alongside applying to charitable trusts and foundations to fund our own services. Monies donated to Herefordshire Mind, stay in Herefordshire.

Can any business have a Charity of the Year?

Absolutely. Whether you’re a team of 1 or a team of 1,000, we’d love to work together.
