Zoe (pictured above) decided to walk 10 miles to raise awareness of mental health issues. Not only did Zoe complete her walk in a little over 4 hours, she managed to raise an astonishing £137.91.
Zoe’s decision to support Herefordshire Mind stemmed from her own experiences with mental health problems. Zoe also has a range of physical health conditions which made this walk especially challenging, but her determination to raise awareness and help others who are experiencing mental health problems saw her through.
Completing this challenge was a huge goal for Zoe, one which she is very pleased to have achieved and has had a positive impact on her mental health. Zoe's partner Stephen also played a big part in Zoe's success, supporting her all 21,154 steps of the way. We are very proud of her achievement and thank her for choosing to support us.
Leading on from Zoe's success, we are considering organising an annual sponsored walk to tie in with Mental Health Awareness week. If you would be interested in participating, please contact David on 01432 372404 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
