Herefordshire Mind wishes to announce that Richard Kelly is retiring from Herefordshire Mind on 31st March 2017, which he has led for 9 years as Executive Director. During this time he has built up a range of services, including education, community support, recovery and wellbeing and housing & residential. Despite the constant pressure on funding, Richard has ensured that the charity has weathered this period of austerity and leaves as his legacy a new, purpose built 14 bedded mental health recovery facility, Miller Court. This, together with the long established Shires and other residential facilities will help secure the long term future of Herefordshire Mind.
Richard, will be using up his leave between now and when he goes at the end of March, so Keith Woodall, who was engaged earlier this month, will lead the organization as Acting Executive Director until the appointment of Richard’s successor.
The trustees, staff and service users all thank Richard for his service and achievements and wish him every success in his next venture.
