Registered Mental Health Nurse


Salary up to c30,000, 1000 Golden Hello* plus benefits
Part-time and flexible hours considered

We are looking for a Nurse who will enable a structured and caring environment for men and women with severe, enduring mental illness and mild learning disability on their journey of ‘recovery’.

The successful applicant will provide support, guidance and advice to the staff team, and help to create an environment conducive to the care, support and management of individuals with enduring mental health needs. They will also be responsible for assessing risk, personal development planning and direct work with clients.

We can offer you a competitive salary, support in gaining a mentoring qualification and/or return to nursing, staff benefits package and good career development and training. There is an additional payment of 1,000* as a Golden Hello for joining us. *Terms and Conditions apply.

The successful applicant will be a qualified RNMH with the following:

  • Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC)
  • Experience of support planning and risk assessing
  • A professional approach and awareness of maintaining boundaries
  • Confidence in their communication skills
  • The ability to deal with sensitive issues with tact and diplomacy
  • Commitment to effective teamwork and service development
  • Able to work over 24 hours and 7 days a week according to the rota

Bank Support Worker

Community Support Team

8.00 per hour
Flexible hours

The Community Support Team provides community and recovery orientated support options for people with mental health conditions living in the community.

We are looking for individuals who are responsive to client needs and who can provide flexible support to clients living in their own homes. We are particularly interested in recruiting someone located the Ross-on-Wye area.

We offer paid travel time, pay mileage at 45p per mile and offer Westfield Health, an insurance product which gives you money back towards your healthcare bills, as a benefit on completing your probation period. (Please see Terms and Conditions for more information).

The successful applicant will need to have the following:

  • Awareness of mental health issues
  • At least 12 months of previous experience working in a mental health supportive or care environment
  • Good communication and organisation skills
  • An empathetic and non-judgemental approach
  • Willingness to learn and to undergo further training in line with service requirements
  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
